FIFA 12 Older Players with Potential
Some people are interested in more established players, So here is a list of players over 25 that still grow in overall by 6 or more
FIFA 12 Good Lower League Players
This list is for those managers that aspire to take a club like Plymouth Argyle or Hereford to the top of the Premier League.
Unlike FIFA 12 Best Young Players these players are a little more affordable as the peak between 65 and 74.
FIFA 12 Free Agents
Free Agents in FIFA 12 are players who are in the game because they are on their national team, but whose club is not represented in game.
This post by Muzzy77 on the EA forums explains how you can add them to your game.
FIFA 12 Best Young Players
Here is the new list of the best young players for FIFA 12. It should be accurate for current-gen machines (PC, XBOX360 and PS3) and at least a good guide for those on previous-gen machines.
Players ages are calculated at the start of a manager mode season with a Premier League club (1 July 2011), and for a player to be included on this list they must be under 25 and have a potential overall of 75+.
Many of you have players whose overall has exceeded their potential. This is because a player should naturally reach his potential, but by playing them often you can boost their overall potential. In the past this boost has been anywhere from 1 to 10, but more likely 3 or 4. This is an overly simplistic view of things but it tends to hold true in most cases.
FIFA 11 Best Young Players Winter Roster Update
Due to numerous requests I’ve recompiled my list of best young players in FIFA 11 updated for the 2011 Winter Roster. This list should be fairly accurate for PC, PS3 and XBOX360 and somewhat helpful for older-gen consoles.
You can still view the original list at FIFA 11 Best Young Players
FIFA 11 ReGens
WTF is a ReGen?
In FIFA 11 they have removed the youth scouting system from the career mode entirely and switched to a system of regenerating retired players.
Basically when a player retires they will be reincarnated in the form of a youth player with a pseudo-random name but with the identical attributes of the retired player. You can spot them in the transfer screen because they do not have a player picture.
If you have difficulty finding a certian player it may be because they have already been traded to another team. To help with finding them you should search for young players with their position / nationality and then check that their weight matches.
Eligibility
- Must retire within the first 5 seasons of CM. Because a regen starts young (<18) they need time to fully develop to the potential of the player they are based on.
- Have a theoretical potential overall of 75+, because there is not point of buying a regen’d version of Paul Crichton
This post by rusayne on the EA forums better explains and discusses how regens work so have a look if you want more information.
FIFA 11 Best Young Players
Until I have time to properly investigate how the FIFA 11 manager mode works here is some raw player data extracted from the FIFA database. The potentials are to be used as a rough guide to player growth but may be some way off. Generally the younger players on this list are more likely to reach their potential than those 23+. These values were taken from the PC database but should also be accurate for finding the best players on xbox360 and ps3. As always, feel free to leave a comment if you find any awesome new players or good bargains.

FIFA 11 Free Agents
There are a number of players included in FIFA 11 because they are part of their national team, but their club is not represented in the game. This means that in Manager Mode they will not be part of your. The following list of players are those that meet this criteria.

FIFA 10 Best Young Players
Seeing as though people seemed to find my info for FIFA 09 useful I decided I would do the same again for FIFA 10. If you are playing on a portable device or current-gen console then you may not find all players listed here on your device due to the limited squad size. If you are playing on a next-gen console then you will not find any of the players from the Russian league, that is why their transfer and price is blank.
As of 8 November 2009 I have completely updated all players info and stats (version 2). If you have visited this site before you will notice quite a few things have changed, hopefully for the better.
Eligibility
- Be 23 or under at the start of the 2009/2010 Premier League season
- Attain an overall skill of 85 or greater at some point in their career
