FIFA 09 Scouted Players

Below is a list of players that have the potential to reach a peak OVR of 90+. Hopefully there is enough information here such that you know where to scout and for what position.

Players aren’t scoutable until their 16, so if a player is listed as 10 years old that means you will not be able to scout for them until you enter season 6 of your manager mode.  The potential column is a rough indicator of what their peak value is.

If you are able to scout a player that reaches and overall of 90 or greater without training boosts then please leave a comment with the players details so I can turn this list into an up to date resource.

    4 years old`?!

That is the players age at the start of manager mode. It means that the player wont be able to be scouted until they are 16 (season 12 of manager mode)

hi, not all players with 90+ potential can reach 90 above, e.g. Dan Bridge or Hugues Nattier with potential of 90+, thou they never have chance to peak at 90+, cos they start pretty low around 40+. i have them both on my roster, only peaks at around 80. the list is not very accurate only based on their potentials. but thanks for the effort.

Another list, made by me on EA’s official forums. They are some players I posted which you didn’t find. Feel free to add them.

Tom, I realise that a lot of the players don’t reach their potential, and some even exceed it. This initial list is just a rough guide until I can start getting some solid data.

thanks just4u32, I’ve already been following your thread and will definitely use the info you collected.

    Hi all,
I am using FIFA 09 in PSP. I have a player called Assiful from Africa. Which country should I scout for good players? Which country is the best? I would be thankful if any of you reply.

    comment-bottom
  7. avatar comment-top

I think you will find that the scoutable players are fairly evenly distributed between the regions, so you should find decent players no matter where you look. It’s much easier to find better players in the later seasons though.

I dont think they are on PS2 either.

@ admin – to find more players i use this technique:

Started with a brazilian club, then switched between europe and Brazil, meaning every 2 years, I have effectively played 3 years. Like this:
    Normal Season | Brazil Switching
    2008/09 | 2009-09
    2009/10 | 2010/11

see how there has been 3 years played when i switch from a brazil club and back. 2022/23 is season 15 but i’m in 2026/27. I didn’t switch each season though. If someone wanted to they could switch in and out of Brazil and get to season 22 (2029/30)It makes all the scouted players appear
